How to Predictably Scale

This week on the Scale Academy podcast, Ned Arick and Hilmon Sorey of ClozeLoop tell us what it takes to stay on track, to stand out from the rest, and how ClozeLoop helps their clients grow and scale repeatedly.

They start the show by debating what to do with the repository of stuff they have created within the company- tools, scripts templates, etc. Should they just throw everything out to the public? They are in the business of helping as many people as possible, after all. But if giving it all away for free actually worked, then why isn’t everyone rich? Where does everything fall apart? Staying On Track

At 01:43, Ned relives a conversation that he had just hours earlier. He tells of a client who, at the end of their meeting, thanked Ned for keeping him on track. This client has everything in the repository. He has the scripts, the frameworks, the templates. But that’s not the only thing it’s about. Rather, it is about being held accountable through cohorts, workshops, and courses, so that they can ask questions and be understood and be kept on track.

Hilmon adds that, from more than just a process standpoint, innovation is constantly happening. Therefore, “...the template doesn’t work to the extent that it’s already been proven over and over and over.” When you are building a business, it is more beneficial if you know just a little bit about the psychology and a whole lot about your business and who it is you are targeting. Developing intimacy with a small group, over using or relying on a template in a general group, will help your business grow exponentially. Continue listening to learn more.

The Right Message

Being able to focus deeply on the one thing that can help you is paramount. There is so much information out there, and most of it projects roughly the same message. However, according to Ned, you must put the right systems, strategies, and skillsets in place in order to take you much further on your journey. It’s Not the Attention, It’s the Interest

To the point of relying on scripts, templates, etc. and just plugging in your information without commanding the attention of the micro-segment you are trying to reach, you will gain nothing in return. You Never Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression
